Kildare College is dedicated to fostering innovation, creativity and empowering young women as they chart their course in the world; with this program being testament to progressive education. RISE is not your ordinary subject. It's an adventure that dares students to dream, innovate, and make a difference. The fourth unit, Engagement, is all about forging powerful connections with our community through outreach and service.
What a wonderful start to our Year 12 students' final day at Kildare College. Joined by families, the annual Year 12 Breakfast was filled with delicious food, fond memories and reflective speeches.

Last night we celebrated the Class of 2023 at our Graduation Mass; the first of many events of our Year 12 students' final week of school. Reflecting on their journey at the College and offering them our blessings for the future, it was an emotional evening for all, especially our graduating Year 12 students.

Our wonderfully talented musicians took to the Festival Theatre stage, for the Catholic Schools Music Festival, which provides an incredible opportunity to celebrate and showcase musical talents. For the third year in a row, the choirs were supported by our very own rhythm section every night of the Festival. Congratulations to all involved.
Yesterday we welcomed some special guests to Kildare.
Every four years the six Trustees of Kildare Ministries, our governing body, visit Kildare to explore the College, understand collective goals and get to know our community. The Trustees also enjoyed getting to know students and staff through a shared morning tea and lunch made by our Year 10 Food and Hospitality class.
Through Catholic Education South Australia in partnership with the University of South Australia, Khloe and Amelie (Year 7) and Bianca, Diya and Ruby (Year 8 ) immersed themselves into an exciting STEM program; exploring engineering practices, pathways and building creative confidence.
Supported by Fleet Space Technologies, a South Australian company which designed, built and launched Australia’s only commercial NanoSatellites; students learnt about the complexities of satellites, the process of 3D printing and assembling satellite components.
Students will soon solve a complex issue designed by Fleet Space Technologies and share their solutions with industry experts and female trailblazers who will provide feedback to help refine and enhance the designs.

Delany are on a winning streak; for the fourth year in a row, they have won our Interhouse Netball Competition! Well done to all who participated and congratulations to Delany on being the Interhouse Netball Champions for 2023.
