Today we held Cultural Celebration Day; an occasion to recognise the many incredible cultures throughout the world. Students wore cultural dress and enjoyed cultural activities, food and drink.
This special day was hosted by our Chai and Chat, Nunga and Living Justice | Living Peace Group with money raised donated to the Australian Refugee Association.
Our Neon Night themed Kildare Social, lit up the evening with vibrant neon colours and dance beats, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of fun and excitement. A night to remember, enjoyed by Kildare College, Blackfriars Priory School, Christian Brothers College and Rostrevor College students.
Winning with heart! We congratulate Alyssa (Year 9) and our Student Leadership Team on their fabulous achievements at the Tea Tree Gully Youth Achievement Awards.
Passionate and driven, Alyssa has been honoured with the 'Change Maker' Award for her dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to creating positive change in the community. Our Inspirational Student Leadership Team was also recognised for their service to the community, receiving Runner Up for the 'Together We Can' Award.

Being first performed in 1976, this classic musical has since captured the hearts of many; a story of having and holding hope and optimism through life's journey, no matter what the circumstance. Our cast have been busy rehearsing to bring this inspiring production to the stage this late November. Tickets opening soon!
Today was a truly special day at Kildare College as we had the privilege of welcoming back our first Teacher in Charge in 1966, Sr Moira Broderick csb.
Sr Moira, who played an instrumental role in shaping the foundation of our College, returned to present to our community and share her wisdom and insights of the beginning of Kildare's history 57 years ago. Her speech was inspirational and reminded our community of the importance of determination, resilience, and the journey of learning.
Discovering familiar and new areas of the College, Sr Moira toured Kildare and was amazed at its growth. The Administration building was a particularly heartwarming moment, as it was once the convent, where Sr Moira and the other Brigidine Sisters lived.
We are immensely grateful for Sr Moira's dedication to education and her continued support for our College and thank her and her sister, Angela, for also coming to Kildare today.
UNDEFEATED! Congratulations to our Middle C Soccer Team who have won all 10 games this season, including the Grand Final! Well done on your determination, teamwork and achieving these incredible results.
Happy Father's Day! We were delighted to have our families join us for our Father's Day Breakfast and acknowledge the gift of our fathers, grandfathers and male caregivers. Families enjoyed a delicious breakfast, creating memories and decorating their own wooden photo frame, made at Kildare College. We also remember our families whose fathers have passed away and we send our prayer and thoughts to you all.
Our Year 9 Netball team were excited to travel to Bendigo, for Kildare College's inaugural participation in the Schools in Action Netball Challenge!
This three-day competition was a journey of determination and a testament to the students' passion for sport. With every game the students demonstrated their skillset, teamwork and commitment to the challenge. They all played extremely well and were just shy of the bronze medal by two goals.
We are so proud of their amazing determination and efforts and congratulate them.
