Why no knit a square or two, or more!
How to knit a square
- Squares are knitted in garter stitch with either 4mm or 4 ½ mm needles, 40 stitches, using 8ply acrylic yarn
- Blankets are more easily washed with acrylic rather than wool
- Any colour yarn is lovely
- It takes 48 squares to make a blanket
- To measure your square, simply place corner to opposite corner and if a triangle is formed, then one has a square!
