If you are missing the regular Living Justice activities and are looking for something different to do, why not give back to the community from home.

Why no knit a square or two, or more!

How to knit a square

  • Squares are knitted in garter stitch with either 4mm or 4 ½ mm needles, 40 stitches, using 8ply acrylic yarn
  •  Blankets are more easily washed with acrylic rather than wool
  • Any colour yarn is lovely
  • It takes 48 squares to make a blanket
  • To measure your square, simply place corner to opposite corner and if a triangle is formed, then one has a square!
