It has been many years since the College staffroom has had any form of an upgrade. However, even during these extraordinary times, we have been able to commence renovations.
Our staffroom not only functions as a physical space; but also as social, cultural and emotional area. We are looking to create an updated environment where staff feel comfortable in a space that lends itself as a hive of productivity, as well as a place to gather so meaningful and healthy conversations can transpire.
The renovations include walls being removed to create more space as well as a new kitchen. The new furniture will be coordinated by our current staff so that we can continue to develop a sense of connectedness and community.
At Kildare, building effective relationships is an essential part of who we are, and hence we are hoping that the new renovated space will demonstrate that the staff are also very much valued in our College community.
