Welcome to Term 3. We hope that families made the most of the mid-year break and then navigated the one week of lockdown and online learning. Our students have restarted this week with great enthusiasm and have taken to the wearing of face masks in their stride. As mentioned in the recent correspondence, we are working through the implications of restrictions being reintroduced and their impact on planned College events. Our larger gatherings such as assemblies, liturgies, and parent information nights will still go ahead, but in revised formats.
We always look forward to assisting the students and their families through the process of subject selection. Students recently received the information virtually by an in-class presentation. Information regarding SACE for those new to the certificate has been emailed home this week, along with the timeline for the upcoming events.
After a week hiatus we welcome the return of excursions for subjects and look forward to the many that are planned in the coming weeks including; the Year 10 Essential Maths Central Market Business excursion and the Year 8 HUMS and STEM Sustainability Tour taking place in Week 4. Our Year 12 Drama stduents are also busy preparing for their upcoming performance that doubles as part of their assessment for the course.
We look forward to sharing these and many more learning experiences with you.
