As well as developing face-to-face connections we have also been supporting students with their online connections. The Year 7 students watched a performance by Brainstorm Productions that illustrated some of the impacts young people face when they engage with others online. They also learned how to keep themselves safe and what to do if they do find themselves in trouble online.
The Year 8 students had the opportunity to hear from the Carly Ryan Foundation. This presentation focused more specifically, on how students can keep themselves safe online, with an emphasis on the safety features that they can use on social media.
