This week over 30 of our Year 7 to 12 students represented Kildare College at the annual Catholic Schools Music Festival.
For the first time, we had a small group of Year 7 students in the massed choir of over 400 Catholic school students. The group worked hard all year in their lunch time rehearsals to learn music, lyrics and choreography to perform from memory.
We also had an ensemble perform as a support act on the same night. The 20 member vocal ensemble presented Andra Day’s “Rise Up” and were joined by Year 11 lead vocalists Alicia McMahon and Amy Somers, Isabella Oswald on piano, Sophia Keys on guitar, Keeley Cain on drums and Mr Jonathan Hage on bass.
