Congratulations to Scarlett Currie (Year 7) who was recently selected to play in the Adelaide North East team for SAPSASA soccer.
In the week-long carnival recently held at West Lakes the team came second overall in their division with 6 wins and 2 losses. The team only conceded 4 goals for the whole tournament; with Scarlett highly commended for the role she played in defence.
Pictured with her Modbury Vista Soccer Club team mate Annie; it just goes to show that whether they are team mates or opponents, friendship in sport crosses all boundaries.
We look forward to her playing for Kildare next season.
