Recently Kildare College dance students were involved in the Affirmations Performance at Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute; the show provided a great opportunity for the Nunga group to take on ‘front of house’ duties and welcome audiences for the matinee and evening performances.
The students looked great in their ‘Affirmation’ t-shirts designed by local Indigenous artist Burthumarr (Chris Crebbin). Welcoming members of the public in such a sacred space certainly allowed the students to share the importance of celebrating culture.
