Barbara Madonna celebrates 40 Years at Kildare

We would like to acknowledge a valued staff member who has been a part of the Kildare College community for 40 years - Barbara Madonna.

Sidney Hook states:

“Everyone who remembers his or her own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system.”

Barbara is the heart of our education system at Kildare College.

Barbara began in September 1978 as a German teacher.

Over the course of these 40 years, she has:

  • Taught full time/part time
  • Year 10-11 Coordinator
  • Acting Deputy Principal
  • Teaching and Learning Coordinator
  • Acting House Coordinator
  • TRT Teacher
  • Senior School Coordinator
  • Coordinator of Student Programs
  • Inclusive Education Coordinator
  • Inclusive Education Transition Coordinator
  • Year 8 -12 English, HASS, Tourism, PLP teacher

Barbara brings Wealth of knowledge
