Cyber Safety

Cyber Safety refers to the safe and responsible use of information and communication technologies. This includes privacy and information protection, respectful communication and knowing how to get help to deal with online issues.

Kildare recognises its duty of care to students to provide a safe and positive learning environment which includes the responsible use of information and communication technologies. An initiative of our overall cyber safety strategy is the appointment of a Cyber Safety Contact Person. This ensures students, families and members of our College community know who they can approach to disclose cyber safety matters of concern, and to seek support and advice.

Our Cyber Safety Contact Person is:

Raymond Kropinski | Acting Deputy Principal
08 8369 9999 | rkropinski@kildare.catholic.edu.au

Useful resources for Cyber Safety include:

The eSafety Commissioner is Australia’s independent regulator for online safety.
